PASTOR ELEADREA ANDREWS
Worshiper of God
Pastor Eleadrea J. Andrews is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. She studied at Birmingham-Southern College where she pursued a degree in Mathematics. Although she has made a career in Healthcare Management for the past 17 years; Eleadrea's passion and love for the arts is still a part of her life today. A former Miss Black Alabama, Eleadrea has been performing through dance and theater since she was 4 years old. She began teaching at the age of 14 to both the young and the old.
In 2001, Eleadrea's life changed dramatically; she was diagnosed with Stage 2C Ovarian Cancer. After receiving a right salpingo-oophorectomy, she had to undergo chemotherapy from December 2001 to April 2002. During this time Eleadrea realized that there was little to no support groups for Ovarian Cancer survivors. Seven years passed and the unimaginable happened; Eleadrea was diagnosed a second time with Ovarian Cancer. This time although no chemotherapy was administered, she had to have a full hysterectomy.
At 35 years old her ability to have children was being taken away. Although saddened by the news she received, Eleadrea's strong faith and belief in Christ renewed her strength. Out of this renewed strength was "birthed" Standing Ovations Ovarian Cancer Foundation. Standing Ovations Ovarian Cancer Foundation, fondly named for her love of the stage, stands up with a "voice" for Ovarian Cancer Awareness and provides healing emotionally and spiritually to Ovarian Cancer survivors and their families.
Lady EJ Andrews is happily married to Apostle Daniel L Andrews, Sr, and shares her love and devotion to her new sons.
